AuRea: rendering for augmented reality
Give your AR experience a visible form. Labels, 3D objects and directions can appear in space and follow references recognized by the camera. AuRea is our lightweight engine for building and displaying this content, currently under internal testing.
From idea to AR scene
AuRea helps compose a digital scene connected to what the camera sees. ARDK follows movement and recognizes references; AuRea organizes the elements and renders them in the experience. This lets you design contextual information and visual guidance in the places where people need them.
The AuRea overview explains how it works with ARDK and introduces its main concepts.

Content that stays in place
A label beside an object, an arrow along a route or information near a point of interest needs a stable reference. AuRea connects content to markers tracked by ARDK and updates it as the user moves. The anchor guide explains the approach.

Objects and animation that clarify
3D elements, materials and animation can make directions clearer and content more engaging. The value lies in a scene users can understand at a glance: visual elements can represent an object, point the way or highlight an action. See the 3D object guide for composition options.
Simple information placed in space
Not every experience needs a complex 3D model. Text, images and panels can become spatial content that delivers directions and contextual information while people stay focused on their surroundings. The widget guide describes the available elements.
Text and images
Show information in the right place.
Panels and callouts
Organize directions and contextual content.
Readability
Test size and placement in the real space.
Designed to work with ARDK
AuRea includes ARDK in its integration path. Before building a scene, define how references will be recognized, which content should appear and how it should behave on target devices. The lifecycle guide covers implementation details for the development team.
Define references
Decide how points in the space will be recognized.
Compose the scene
Choose objects, labels and directions to show.
Test on devices
Check rendering and behavior in the real environment.
Availability
AuRea is under internal testing and has not yet been publicly distributed through the repository named in its installation guide. If you would like to evaluate it for your project, talk to us about the AR experience and potential early access.
